The Back Story:
Once a Marine, Always a Marine
The Marine Corps is unlike any other branch of service. Once you earn the title, you become a part of a brotherhood that lasts the rest of your life. The name “Marines Forever” suggests that once we earn the title, we are Marines for the rest of our lives.
Semper Fidelis.. is not just when they are in but as long as blood courses through their veins.
Front Image: Joseph John Rosenthal (October 9, 1911 – August 20, 2006) was an American photographer who received the Pulitzer Prize for his iconic World War II photograph Flag raising on Mount Suribachi on the island of Iwo Jima. It came the U. S. Marine Corps symbol that would memorialize its grit and tenacity forever.
