About GrafixMat Coasters:

Each GrafixMat® is a work of art, masterfully laser-engraved on the cork front with a unique and amusing story colorfully illustrated on its flip-side.  For a treasured gift or your own personal collection; select one or create a set of 2, 4, 6 or more from 21 themed Collections totaling more than 500 contemporary and fine art designs.  Made from eco-friendly recycled cork from Portugal and Spain, yet handcrafted in the U.S.A. GrafixMats® are so artfully designed and intriguing, we've created a hanging hole in the back of each coaster.

The Back Story:

Hula Girl Pin-up: Bettie Page

Bettie Page was born April 22nd, 1923 and passed away  on December 11th, 2008. She was among  the most popular models from the United States, mostly known for her Fetish Modeling and Pin-up Photos. Her signature jet black hair and bangs are often seen and replicated in youth today.  She was also one of the first Playmates of the month being quoted as a “remarkable lady and an iconic figure in pop culture...someone who had a tremedous impact on our society,” by magazine founder Hugh Hefner. After years of obscurity, she experienced a resurgence of popularity from the 1980’s ‘til today and has since had a large
cult following.
