The Back Story:
Drink The Sun
This beautiful, early Mexican design is from the surface of a “malacates”. “Malacates” were objects of baked clay found in the oldest of Mexican archeological digs and were very common just before the Conquest of Mexico. This particular design reminds one of the hot Mexican sun and wave-like mirage affect, and thus inspired the title “Drink the Sun”.
