The Back Story:
Mighty Crocodile
The crocodile is a member of the Crocodylidae family of large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics including Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. At first glance, these fierce hunters appear yo be slow movers, but they navigate quickly through the water and on land to catch their unassuming prey. They are also equipped with powerful jaws. The pressure of a crocodile's bite is measured at 5,000 pounds per square inch, more than 12 times stronger than a great white shark. Crocs are also quite sneaky and can lurk for extended periods of time underwater to catch a meal.
