The Back Story:
Orangutan and Hound
Suryia is an orangutan from The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (TIGERS) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After losing his parents, Suryia was very depressed and on the verge of dying of sadness when one day, a homeless dog named Roscoe followed a bunch of employees walking to the center. After meeting and befriending Roscoe, the two were friends in an instant. Suryia the orangutan started eating again and regained his will to live and Roscoe found a home at the center! They have been inseparable ever since!
On Front: Swimming is their favourite past time, although Suryia is a little afraid of the water and needs his friend’s help to swim.
