ProtectoMat® Wholesale Terms & Conditions

CREDIT CARDS:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover at time of order.
CREDIT:
An open account may be established upon acceptance of satisfactory references and will be maintained for accounts that pay within the 30-day terms. A credit application will be sent upon request.
TERMS: NET 30 DAYS
Open accounts are due and payable thirty (30) days from date of invoice. Minimum order for net 30 day terms is $250. Any amount past due will be charged 1-1/2% per month (18% per annum) and will be subject to adjusted terms.
FREIGHT:
All shipments are FOB our Warehouse, Huntington Beach, CA. Freight is shipped collect.
P.O.P. LITERATURE:
Four-color consumer literature and literature holders are supplied at no charge to help you sell. Please review your needs and request through our sales department at time of order.
UPC LABELS:
We will affix product UPC bar code labels to the back of all products when specified with order.
GUARANTEE:
ProtectoMats manufactured in accordance with The Walton Company’s high standard of materials, construction and inspection, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years. During this limited warranty period The Walton Company will repair or, at its option, replace defective merchandise free of charge. This limited warranty does not apply to damage resulting
from accident, misuse, negligence, abuse, or normal wear and tear. All other warranties, expressed or implied are hereby excluded.
RETURNS:
Call for authorization number for all returns. We will give you your choice of refund, credit, or exchange. Simply give us the date of invoice, invoice number and you may return any stock item. Items returned must be shipped prepaid.
Returned merchandise must be received by The Walton Company in the condition in which it left the factory. A 15% restocking charge will apply to merchandise returned. An additional charge may be made to restore merchandise to salable condition. Specials and Custom Orders are not returnable.
CLAIMS:
We are not responsible for damage incurred in transit. All items shipped at purchaser’s risk; any claim for loss or damage sustained in transit must be made upon carrier immediately. The Walton Company will assist customers in establishing claims with carriers by supplying them with the required documentation whenever possible. All claims against The Walton Company must be made by customer in writing within ten (10) days after delivery. Failure to make claim against The Walton Company within ten (10) days shall constitute full acceptance of merchandise.
DISCLAIMER:
It is always wise to check the surfaces beneath your plant containers periodically to insure that conditions are normal. ProtectoMats do not always eliminate the need for a saucer under a plant container. If the product is being used under potted plants with drain holes, avoid flooding by placing a saucer under the pot. Occasionally, excessive moisture build-up can soak the ProtectoMat beyond its ability to absorb. Heavy containers (i.e. terra cotta) or containers with invisible cracks can cause staining or moisture damage. Avoid this by elevating the container slightly above the mat to provide air circulation beneath the pot. For the occasional problem container, plantscape professionals often stack two ProtectoMats under the pot.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
As a courtesy to our dealers, we will ship “any” quantity of ProtectoMats. If you wish to receive less than a full case of any size of Circular and/or Square mats, a minimal charge of 10% applies to the manual intervention required to break cases. As case packs do not apply to rectangular mats, no such broken case charge exists for rectangles. Orders less than $100.00 incur a $15.00 processing charge. There is a $15.00 service charge on all returned checks. We reserve the right to make upgrades, changes, or product improvements without prior notice. The Walton Company reserves the right to limit purchase quantities. Prices and terms subject to change without notice.
