In Hawaiian culture, the sea horse has long been a symbol of eternal friendship. This unusual fish has served as a traditional Chinese medicine for 500 years and is considered a love charm and cooking delicacy. The sea horse possesses a truly magical trait, for unlike other fish, it’s the male who gives birth to the young, giving birth from as little as one to over two thousand in a single pregnancy.
