Made from eco-friendly recycled cork from Portugal and Spain, yet handcrafted in the U.S.A. The Back Story:
City of Dallas, Texas - Seal
The City of Dallas, Texas was founded in 1841 and was formally incorporated as a city in February 1856. In 1871 the Dallas City Council authorized the mayor to procure a seal for the city. At that point O. L. Bailey was hired to design the seal, and was paid a sum of $9.00. The seal is an official logo of the city and is set forth as a symbol of the authority and jurisdiction of the city.
