The Back Story:
San Clemente Pier
In the 1920s, each original lot purchaser in San Clemente shared ownership of the beach, the pier and golf course, all of which still comprise the major public recreational assets of the city. San Clementes’ 1,200 foot pier is a major attraction for fishermen, surfers, and strollers all year-round. The beach around the pier is the site of an annual summer Ocean Festival, with international lifeguard competitions, dory boat raves, family Olympics, and sand sculpting contests. Come visit us!
