Keys
Throughout history, keys have been used to symbolize man’s ability to gain access to those things of either a material or spiritual nature which are of the greatest significance to him. The key denotes liberation, knowledge, the mysteries and rites of passage marking entrance or acceptance into a group or society. In Christianity the key is the emblem of St. Peter as guardian of the gate of heaven.
In Japanese mythology the three keys of the granary are love, wealth and happiness.
The key is a positive symbol. It is looked upon as something that opens things and reveals things to us.
